About the Role
Southwest Dental Group is growing and looking for an experienced Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team.
This is a key role within the practice, responsible for managing patient flow, coordinating treatment, and ensuring a smooth and professional front office experience. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and confident in both insurance and financial discussions.

Schedule
Full-Time
- Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:30 PM
Enjoy early Fridays and consistent weekday hours
What You’ll Do
- Verify PPO insurance and provide accurate benefit breakdowns
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients
- Post patient payments and manage account balances
- Review and interpret EOBs (Explanation of Benefits)
- Support financial planning including in-house options and CareCredit
- Schedule appointments and maintain an efficient schedule
- Perform confirmation calls and patient follow-up
- Coordinate specialty referrals
- Scan and maintain patient documentation
- Ensure the reception area is professional and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Dental front office experience required
- Strong knowledge of insurance verification, EOBs, and treatment planning
- Familiarity with ADA codes and dental terminology
- Experience discussing financials with patients
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Professional, energetic, and team-oriented
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
