Administrative Assistant Job Description:
Dispatch / Inventory Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of orders. Supports managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all t duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time to perform daily duties
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Assist in the preparation of scheduled deliveries
- Provide general support for manager
- Provide information by answering customer questions and requests to managers
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Write letters and emails on behalf of managers
- Maintain computer and manual filing systems
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Reply to email, telephone or face to face enquiries
- Answer telephone calls and pass them on
- Photocopy and print out documents as needed
Requirements:
- Proven dispatch or assistant experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Friendly and customer oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
