We are currently looking for school age counselors to join our organization. To comply with insurance policy guidelines, individuals must be 25 years of age or older to operate a company van. Drivers must also maintain a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable insurance and safety requirements.
- Responsibilities:
- An afterschool program Staff is responsible for supervising students after school hours, providing academic support like homework assistance, organizing enrichment activities, ensuring their safety, and fostering a positive learning environment, often incorporating fun and engaging activities to complement what students learn during the regular school day.
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents.
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Facility Maintenance
- Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, Physical education, teaching, or other related fields is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Passionate about working with children is a must.
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Pass a level 2 background screening https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Current 45 hours, CDA or FCCPC a plus
- Monday -Friday
No Weekends
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
