Local Union 57 is seeking experienced Industrial Painters for projects in the Birmingham, Alabama area. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople looking to work with a union contractor on industrial painting projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for coating using appropriate industry methods
- Apply paints, primers, coatings, and protective finishes to industrial structures and equipment
- Operate spray equipment and other painting tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications
- Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of industrial painting experience
- OSHA 10 Construction Certification required
- Ability to work in industrial settings and varying weather conditions
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a background check
- Dependable work history and strong safety record
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
