Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping our facility safe, clean, functional, and comfortable for our residents, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do
Assist with the daily maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds.
Perform general repairs and routine maintenance throughout the building.
Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and other basic maintenance tasks as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address issues in a timely manner.
Inspect equipment, fixtures, and building areas and report any concerns.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Assist with preventative maintenance and scheduled facility inspections.
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in an organized condition.
Follow all facility safety policies and procedures.
Assist the Maintenance Director with special projects and other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
Previous maintenance, facilities, handyman, construction, or building-services experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs.
Ability to troubleshoot and identify maintenance issues.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as required.
Experience working in a healthcare, nursing home, hospital, or senior living environment is a plus.
