Rug Doctor is looking for a skilled, reliable Repair Technician who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in fixing and rebuilding equipment. If you have mechanical or small‑engine experience and like a fast‑paced environment where your work matters every day, this role is for you.
You’ll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and refurbishing professional carpet‑cleaning equipment in our Hazelwood facility—helping keep our products in top condition and ready for customers nationwide. Starting pay is $21.00/hr, with opportunities to earn up to $24.00/hr, with productivity incentives

Essential Functions (not all inclusive):
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on carpet‑cleaning equipment
- Perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and refurbishments on rental and professional machines
- Test, clean, and prep equipment for shipment
- Keep an organized and safe work area
- Support general warehouse organization as needed (approximately 5% of workday)
Requirements:
- Mechanical repair experience (required)
- General mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Comfortable troubleshooting equipment problems independently
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and able to manage daily workload
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced environment
