We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in both electrical and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and interpreting schematics.
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on various equipment and machinery.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring that all areas are safe, clean, and operational.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff.
- Utilize logic controllers for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Execute residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Perform welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications when required.
- Supervise junior maintenance staff or contractors during larger projects or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a facilities environment.
- Strong understanding of schematics and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and professionalism.
- Familiarity with logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in various repair techniques.
- Experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Welding skills are advantageous for specific repair tasks.
- Ability to supervise others effectively while maintaining high-quality standards in work output.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
