American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position at a Level III Trauma Center in Gallatin, TN, requiring a minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Medical-Surgical Combination unit in a 167-bed, Level III Trauma Center hospital

Adult and geriatric patient population

Patient ratio of 6:1

12-bed unit

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
Every other weekend requirement

No on-call requirements
-
May float to other Med/Surg units as needed

EMR: Meditech
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license valid in Tennessee (TN state license or compact) required

Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — AHA-issued certifications required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med/Surg required; 2+ years preferred

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays

Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

Cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during this assignment

All clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start

Any scrub color is acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
