Seeking a growing Christian who loves children at our church-based school. Experience teaching preferred but will mentor the right candidate with education and certification in place. Experience teaching preferred but will mentor the right candidate with relevant training and experience in place. DCF initial 45 hours of training required by the end of the first three months. Position is for aftercare, 12:00pm – 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Position is school year only with optional hours available for summer camp in June and July.
Communication skills, classroom management, relationship-building, and a desire to meet student needs are priority. Our families are drawn to our small, family atmosphere with loving teachers and gentle but firm guidance to follow Jesus’ example. Our program comprises the right blend of standards-based academics, STEAM-based hands-on experiences, music, Bible, and more. Flexible benefit options are available for 30+ hr/week schedule. Schedule follows school year calendar with limited opportunity for summer hours with Summer Camp.
