Are you looking for meaningful work where you can make a real difference in someone’s life? Safe Haven Home Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with developmental disabilities in the Hamilton area.
Position Overview:
As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support to help your client live safely, independently, and with dignity—both at home and in the community.
Pay: $15–$18/hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)

Provide supervision and ensure client safety at all times

Support community outings and transportation

Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation

Encourage independence, structure, and positive routines

Document daily activities and any changes in behavior or condition

Schedule:
Consistent weekly hours (details provided during interview)

Opportunity for additional shifts if desired

Requirements:
- Must be male (client preference)
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass background check (BCI/FBI)

High school diploma or GED
-
- Must have or be willing to obtain Ohio DoDD certification
CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)

Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
