Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff on assigned shifts
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide ongoing assessments
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
