Mint on the Avenue is looking for new stylists to join our team!
We are under new ownership as of May 2026 and are stylist owned and operated.
We are a commission-based, Aveda concept salon. We will train with Aveda if you are not familiar.
We are looking to grow our team at our beautiful Winter Park location. Our goal is to not only grow our salon, but also our artists as well, so they can have long and successful careers.
We are proudly partnered with Aveda, and offer free education to the artists within our salon.
Duties
- Provide expert hair styling services including but not limited to, cutting, coloring, highlighting, and smoothing/straightening treatments.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation as per state board
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening carefully to client preferences during consultations, offering home care recommendations, and providing solutions for client concerns
- Help with basic salon duties when available during peak times. ( we do have assistants as well)
Qualifications
- Valid Florida cosmetology or barbering license
- 2+ years of experience behind the chair
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in hair care retail sales
- Willing to learn and participate in advanced education
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
