About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients under supervision.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
- Current Florida state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred, with a focus on rehabilitation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced rehabilitation setting.
