JOB Under close supervision, assists marina customers, performs routine maintenance duties and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of marina facilities; and performs related duties as assigned. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The following duties have been provided as examples of the essential types of work performed by positions within this job classification. Management reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind work assignments as needed.
- Provides customer service to marina users; registers new customers, assists vessels on and off the fuel dock, dispenses fuel and pumps sewage from vessels.
- Performs routine marina maintenance including custodial duties.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on docks, moorings, and other related maintenance as assigned. Computes user fees, processes cash and credit card transactions.
- Observes standard operating procedures and safety practices and maintains cleanliness of work area and tools.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION One year of facility maintenance or other general maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
