Duties

- Handle laundry services such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines
- Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or cleaning supplies safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor work areas when applicable, including patios or walkways
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or janitorial cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and equipment use
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and sanitation products along with proper application techniques
- Ability to perform floor cleaning and floor care using various tools and methods effectively
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely without injury
- Effective client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Experience in outdoor work environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across different settings
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices and custodial responsibilities is advantageous
