Associate Engineer (Fremont, CA Onsite Only)
Draco Electronics, LLC, a rapidly growing cable assembly manufacturer, is seeking a motivated Associate Engineer to support the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing solutions. This role is based at our Fremont, CA facility and offers hands-on experience working with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams serving technology-driven companies throughout the United States.
Key Responsibilities
● Read and understand Electrical & Mechanical Drawings
● Coordinate with the Engineering Team to review the Electrical and Mechanical customer requirements to ensure the correct Components (BOM), Wire Lists and Mechanical properties are met.
● Follow-up with the Engineering Team regarding any issues discovered during the reviewing process
● Liaise with procurement and suppliers to source components and ensure part availability, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
● Perform other assigned duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills
● Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
● 0 to 1+ year of Engineering experience.
● Strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
● Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
● Must be proficient with Microsoft and Google Tools.
● Familiar with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is preferred.
● Hands-on experience with Lab Tools, i.e., DVMs, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Wire Cutters, Crimpers, Microscopes, Soldering, etc.

Compensation and Benefits
● The base salary for this position is estimated to range from $60,000 to $75,000.
● The final starting salary is determined by evaluating several key factors, including the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, and the geographic location of the role. This ensures a fair and competitive compensation package that is aligned with both the candidate's qualifications and current local market conditions.
