GOVSG is looking for a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to utilize your expertise in mission/software assurance, system architecture, and interface design. The selected candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and quality of hardware/software systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and design robust interfaces for seamless integration across MDS platforms.
This is an on-site position in Huntsville, AL.
Position Duties:
- Participate in hardware/software engineering activities to include mission/software assurance, code reviews, static analysis, testing, and engineering reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide input to programs on software architectures that are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software quality, security, and performance
- Ensure hardware/software engineering/assurance processes are acceptable and reports are assessed.
- Provide technical guidance assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Required:
- Extensive experience in hardware/software engineering processes
- Extensive experience in hardware/software assurance processes
- Experience assessing objective evidence for hardware/software engineering
- Professional communications and organization skills
- 12+ years of related professional experience
- Master's Degree in relevant STEM Field
- Active Secret Clearance
Position Desired:
- MDA Experience
- Knowledge of Agile Engineering Design
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering Principals
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (elements, products, and capabilities)
Salary: $145,000-$165,000. Actual compensation offered to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
