Companion/Sitter duties include the following: transport and escort services; meal preparation and serving; socializing with the client; and household tasks essential to cleanliness and safety. Our Direct Care professionals also provide “hands on” services such as bathing, grooming, and assistance with ambulation and transfer.
Qualifications: . Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be physically able to perform the duties of the position. Must exhibit mature responsible behavior, and understand the need for patient confidentiality. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to complete training or pass competency assessment for understanding populations served, basic meal preparation, provision of transportation services, housekeeping, home safety, handling emergencies and infection control. Must be able to follow direction and accurately report to the Supervisor any changes in client’s condition.
