We are searching for a full-time HR Consultant to join our firm, partnering with CAAS clients to provide day-to-day human resources support. This role will be based in Naperville with regular travel to the suburbs of Chicago.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to offering compensation that is fair, transparent, and competitive. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time.
Essential job duties:
- Partner with clients to deliver comprehensive human resources support, providing guidance on payroll administration, employee benefits, employee relations issues, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, employee support, and maintenance of benefits related records and documentation.
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll functions for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established procedures.
- Partner with internal CAAS team members to provide seamless client support and deliver high quality service that exceed client expectations.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a Human Resources Generalist capacity.
- Working knowledge of payroll processes, wage and hour regulations, and basic employment laws preferred.
- Strong client/customer service and relationship management skills required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
