We are seeking an energetic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, drive sales, and help develop a high-performing team. This role assists the Store Manager in leading employees, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining operational excellence, and achieving business goals.
Responsibilities
- Support daily store operations, including opening, closing, inventory, and cash handling.
- Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing employees.
- Lead the team and oversee operations in the Store Manager's absence.
- Drive sales through customer engagement and relationship building.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, merchandising standards, and store appearance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Provide outstanding service to contractors, homeowners, and retail customers.
- Assist with scheduling, reporting, and achieving store performance goals.
- This is a hands-on role requiring regular lifting and moving of merchandise.
Qualifications
- Previous retail supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
