Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist with visual merchandising, including planograms, schematics, and interior design elements to create attractive displays
- Manage inventory control, stocking shelves, and organizing stockrooms to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and pricing adjustments
- Support store management with merchandising strategies, remodeling projects, and store layout improvements
- Conduct training and development sessions for new team members on customer service, sales techniques, and store procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and back areas to uphold a professional environment
Skills
- Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead by example and motivate team members
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members in multiple languages if applicable
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design tasks such as promotional materials or signage
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and inventory management
- Experience with merchandising tools like planograms and schematics to optimize product placement
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering best practices
- Excellent organizational skills for managing stock levels, inventory control, and store layout planning
- Ability to adapt quickly during remodeling or interior design updates to ensure seamless transitions
- Leadership qualities to oversee daily operations while fostering a positive team environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Administrative experience related to retail operations or sales reporting is advantageous
