About the Role
We're looking for a driven, emotionally intelligent sales leader to own our client acquisition process from first contact through onboarding. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build systems and coach a team, but who's also willing to jump on a call and close when it matters. If you've led sales or intake teams in legal, healthcare, or another high-trust professional services environment, and you know how to turn empathy into conversions, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Help shape and execute our sales strategy to support the firm's growth goals
- Own the end-to-end sales process. Lead handling, follow-up, handoffs, and pipeline management
- Optimize our consultation and intake process to improve conversion and revenue
- Set and track KPIs for the team, consultation outcomes, and revenue forecasting
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting and growth planning
Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with our external marketing partners to keep sales and marketing aligned
- Weigh in on lead generation, messaging, and campaign strategy
- Track lead quality and conversion, and turn that data into insights for both the sales team and marketing partners
Systems & CRM
- Own our CRM and sales tech stack
- Keep workflows, reporting, and data quality consistent across the team
- Spot and implement process improvements as we scale
Team Leadership
- Manage the sales/intake team day to day: priorities, workload, and escalations
- Coach the team to hit and exceed performance goals
- Build and maintain scripts, consultation frameworks, and training programs
- Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and high performance
- Take part in hiring decisions for the sales team
Onboarding & Training
- Own onboarding for new sales/intake hires
- Build and maintain training materials so new hires ramp up independently
Backup & Coverage
- Stay close enough to the day-to-day to step in when needed. Covering client calls, working in the CRM, handling escalations, or filling in during an absence
What You Bring
- Proven sales experience in legal, healthcare, or another high-trust, high-emotion professional services environment
- Familiarity with legal intake processes (Florida family law experience is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Lawmatics, or a similar CRM
- A track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- High emotional intelligence and a genuinely client-centered approach
- Excellent judgment under pressure and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism and compassion
