Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our team in the commercial construction sector. Personal tools a must. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on various commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with installing wiring, conduit, and electrical panels according to blueprints and schematics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical installations on construction sites
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to aid in accurate wiring and system setup
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety regulations and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience working as an electrician helper or apprentice in industrial or commercial settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters
- Knowledge of NEC standards, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings
- Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites
- Ability to read technical schematics and interpret construction plans accurately
- Experience with construction site safety procedures and protocols is essential
- Basic understanding of frame carpentry or related construction skills is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions diligently and work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
