Sterling Staffing Solutions is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide in-person occupational therapy consultations and evaluations in a hospital setting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT looking for flexible PRN work, competitive per-visit compensation, and the ability to choose availability based on your schedule.
Position Details
- Setting: Hospital – in-person
- Schedule: Flexible Sunday–Saturday
- Availability: Opportunities may be available any day of the week, including Monday–Friday
- Employment Type: PRN / 1099 Contractor
Your Role
As a PRN Occupational Therapist, you will provide professional OT consultations and evaluations for patients in a hospital setting. You will assess patients' functional abilities, identify occupational therapy needs, and provide recommendations based on your clinical findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Complete OT consultations as requested by the hospital
- Assess patients' functional, cognitive, and physical abilities
- Identify appropriate occupational therapy needs and interventions
- Develop appropriate recommendations based on evaluation findings
- Communicate clinical findings and recommendations with the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other hospital staff
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and timely
- Maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality
What You Need
- Active and unrestricted Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Hospital or acute-care experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a hospital environment
- Reliable transportation
- Professional and patient-centered approach
