Job Overview
Our Starting pay is $19/hr at Production Level 1.
Boulder Sausage has 5 different Production Levels for employees to advance through. Each level comes with a raise until you advance to a Level 5 which currently is $24.50/hr.
We work 4 days a week 10-12 hours per day Monday thru Thursday. May work on Fridays when required. An early AM starter is required. Ability to work overtime.
A person who takes responsibility and accountability and a good interpersonal skills (working within a team atmosphere). Willingness to pursue growth and learning and a desire for perfection (attention to detail).
We also offer a SAR-SEP account after 3 years of service.
Duties
· Working as a part of the production team to manufacture food products for retail sales.
· Learning to function as a team member to maintain product quality standards and help other team members to succeed.
· Learning and operating different production equipment to accomplish sales orders.
· Learning new Food Safety programs associated with the USDA.
· Machine set up and breakdown.
· Operating machines.
· Placing the product in retail trays.
· Labeling, Packing, and palletizing cases of product.
· Adhering to Food Safety standards.
Requirements
· Experience working with for manufacturing equipment is preferred, but not necessary.
· Can work in a cold environment; average 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
· Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.
· A good attendance record and dependable.
