About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Mechanic to join our team on a temporary, seasonal basis. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and supporting production equipment to help ensure safe and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, is comfortable working independently, and has experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and production equipment.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on machinery.
- Identify equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Assist with equipment installation, adjustments, and changeovers.
- Perform mechanical repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Document maintenance and repair activities.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production-related maintenance needs.
- Work collaboratively with production and other maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Mechanic, or in a similar industrial/manufacturing maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience working with production or manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, schematics, and technical instructions.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work the scheduled 6:00 PM–2:00 AM shift and weekends as needed.
Position Details
This is a true temporary/seasonal position intended to support our operations during our seasonal production period. The position is not being posted as a permanent role, and employment will be based on seasonal business needs.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
