Skilled Trades Team Members – Home Renovation & Rehab Projects
We are building a reliable, skilled team to take on full home renovations and rehab projects. We’re looking for hardworking individuals with experience in one or more construction trades who take pride in quality workmanship and showing up ready to get the job done.
This position involves working on residential renovation projects with occasional travel to job sites.
Trades We Are Looking For
Experience in one or more of the following trades is a plus:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC
- Demolition
- Flooring Installation
- Tile Work
- Drywall
- Painting
- Landscaping
- General Maintenance / Handyman Work
- Project helpers also needed for those who are learning the trade and want hands on, helping the team on the job. This may include helping with unpacking, cleaning up, material and tool runs, and etc.
Applicants with skills in multiple trades are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work on residential renovation and rehab projects
- Travel to job sites within a 1-hour radius when needed
- Most travel is within 30 minutes to 1 hour of Columbus, OH
- Perform installation work and light plumbing tasks as required
- Read and use tape measurements accurately
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Work on your feet for 8–10 hours per shift
- Follow project instructions and safety guidelines
- Maintain quality workmanship and strong attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Maintain a professional attitude on job sites
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must own a truck and/or trailer capable of transporting tools and materials
- Must have your own basic tools for your trade
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Comfortable performing physical work for 8–10 hours per day
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in residential or commercial construction
- Experience with installation, plumbing, or general contracting work
- Previous field service or traveling technician experience
- Leadership skills or experience coordinating small teams on job sites
Travel
- Most projects are within 30–60 minutes of Columbus, OH
- Travel beyond 1 hour includes additional compensation
- Some projects may require overnight hotel stays, which are covered by the company
Compensation & Benefits
