Our practice is looking for a Referral Coordinator to join our team!
The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for managing and obtaining patient referrals and authorizations through various insurance providers and healthcare systems.
Duties include:
- Communicating with primary care providers to initiate and follow up on referrals
- Coordinating with the VA and multiple commercial insurance plans
- Verifying required documentation
- Ensuring the timely processing of referral requests.
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Monitoring referral status updates
- Communicating with patients and healthcare providers regarding referral requirements
- Assisting in resolving authorization or coverage issues as needed.
The Referral Coordinator is expected to work collaboratively with clinical staff, providers, and insurance representatives to ensure continuity of patient care and the efficient scheduling of services.

Wage dependent upon experience.
