Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly to support the kitchen’s daily operations
- Handle food safely by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support cooking and plating processes under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and supporting guest services as needed
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods and special events like banquets
Qualifications
- Weekends required
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and practices
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience in banquet service, hotel kitchens, or hospitality environments is advantageous
