Considering Private Practice?
Tabono Center for Wellbeing is seeking a licensed clinician to join our
team. Since 2016, we have provided quality, empathic interventions in a judgement-free
environment to individuals struggling with a variety of concerns ranging from adjusting
to life changes to working through trauma. Like our clients, our staff are diverse in their
background, personalities, and training. Some work full-time, whereas others work a
few hours per week. While schedule flexibility is a major advantage of working in a
private practice, shifting into it can also seem daunting. Whether you are considering
leaving a large agency, just returning to work, or planning on semi-retirement, Tabono
may be good fit for you. Unlike other private practices, Tabono prides itself on
minimizing your risk. For example, we pay for you to be credentialed with insurance
carriers. As you build your case load, we pay both an hourly flat rate + a percentage of
your collectibles, because your time is valuable to you and to us. You have no
overhead costs, as Tabono provides administrative staff support, office space, and an
EHR system. Our goal is to minimize these responsibilities, so you can spend your time
on providing quality care to clients.
Ideally, our new team member will initially be available 4 to 6 hours per week. During the
credentialing process (which can take several months), clinicians will work with clients
who are struggling with emotional difficulty associated with physical complaints, such as
pain or injury. Sessions are both in-person and remote. We offer paid training during
this process. Once credentialed, we hope that you increase your hours to at least 8 per
week. This offers an excellent opportunity to build your case load at your own pace as
you transition to private practice or give yourself an added source of income.
