Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender and Server to join our team at Hail Fellow Well Met. As a Bartender and Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. This is a part time job opening. We are looking for Friday-Sunday Availability. Friday and Saturday PM and Sunday Brunch. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Stock bar supplies and replenish inventory as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Handle difficult situations with customers professionally and resolve any issues that may arise
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Bartender and Server in a restaurant or bar setting
- Memorization of all wine, cocktail, and food menus
- Proficient in operating a POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Sales-oriented mindset to upsell drinks and promote specials
- Ability to be a team player
- Flexibility in Schedule to help in other areas of the restaurant when needed
