Our expanding Wixom, Michigan team is looking for a dedicated and technically proficient Field Service Technician. You will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, and repair of industrial production machinery directly at client sites. This position is a perfect fit for a self-motivated professional who thrives on resolving complex technical problems and providing exceptional service.
You will be responsible for supporting an array of industrial tools, such as milling, gear cutting, boring, grinding, and CNC-managed systems. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring our clients achieve peak equipment efficiency and reduced operational downtime.
Primary Duties-
Handle the installation, commissioning, and initial testing of industrial manufacturing systems.

Ensure new equipment is properly aligned, configured, and validated for optimal performance.

Identify and resolve malfunctions across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and PLC systems.

Carry out regular maintenance checks to help extend the lifespan of client machinery.

Execute urgent repairs and full overhauls to help restore production capabilities for our clients.

Implement necessary system modifications, upgrades, and CNC retrofits.

Maintain thorough and precise records of all service visits and maintenance tasks.

Educate customer staff on equipment operation to improve their internal technical proficiency.

Required Qualifications-
Completion of high school or equivalent; a technical degree or industry certification is a plus.

Demonstrated background as a Maintenance Technician, Field Service Technician, or Industrial Service Engineer.

Solid mechanical skills with a history of maintaining industrial and manufacturing hardware.

Practical understanding of CNC controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

Capability to analyze and utilize electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.

Skilled in utilizing diagnostic software and hardware to resolve technical issues.

Strong interpersonal skills to ensure positive customer interactions.

Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
