WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Operating a multi-line phone system to answer incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate areas.
- Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
- Maintaining resident phone list and away list.
- Takes information and produces work order requests for maintenance and housekeeping services using WorxHub system.
- Booking and maintaining guest room reservations.
- Performing clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, maintaining spreadsheets and pulls resident information from Point Click Care.
- Manages outgoing postal mail.
- Accepts and logs pharmacy orders.
- Notifies residents of pharmacy items and dry cleaning.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A service-oriented attitude, patience, and a genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Someone who can maintain confidentiality of information (computer, paperwork, and medication) that is kept at the front desk.
