We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Welder / Fitter with 10+ years of hands-on experience in welding and part fitting. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication knowledge, can read and interpret blueprints, and is confident fitting and assembling components with precision before and after welding.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on various metals (steel, stainless, aluminum as required)
- Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and weld symbols accurately
- Measure, cut, and align components using appropriate tools and equipment
- Ensure structural integrity and quality of welds
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
- Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, torches, saws, and presses
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional welding experience
- Must have strong fitting and fabrication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Valid welding certifications (preferred but not required depending on experience)
