Plans; organizes; directs; controls; and evaluates the educational programs for appropriate nursing unit cluster (Hendrick Clinic); including community; orientation; and in-service for professional development. Assists in developing programs to meet the Joint Commission standard requirements for education. Participates in direct nursing care.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
Bachelors Degree in Nursing unless otherwise approved by the Director
Minimum Work Experience
1 year in a Clinic setting or any of the following hospital clinical settings:
- Med/Surg (Medical; Surgical; Oncology; Ortho; SNF; and Out-Pt Infusion)
- PCU and Med/Tele
- Critical Care Unit
- Cath Lab
- Women and Children (Mother/Baby; Perinatal; and Neonatal ICU)
- Trauma (ER)
- Operating Room (OR)
Required Licenses/Certifications
(Please note American Heart Association Instructor certification identifies the employee as both an Instructor and Provider).
- Registered Nurse
- CPR Certification
