As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while building strong relationships with families and fellow educators.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Lead classroom routines that encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress and development.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and classroom activities.
- Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies.
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff.
- Promote positive behavior guidance and classroom management strategies.
Qualifications
- CDA, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Must meet state requirements for a Preschool Lead Teacher.
- Previous preschool teaching experience required.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Ability to create engaging learning experiences through play-based education.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

We are a non-profit, church affiliated, family-oriented center.
