Cashier + Shift Leader | Casa Taco
Casa Taco is looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Guest Experience Shift Captain to help keep our restaurant running smoothly, our customers smiling, and the tacos marching out the door in perfect formation.
This is more than a cashier position. You will be one of the people who helps set the tone for the entire shift. We are looking for someone who can greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, keep the front counter organized, support the kitchen team, and step up when things get busy.
We work hard, move quickly, laugh often, and take pride in serving great food. The atmosphere is casual and upbeat, but the expectations are real. A fun workplace only works when everyone does their part.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and provide genuinely friendly service
- Take accurate dine-in, takeout, and online orders
- Handle payments responsibly and balance the cash drawer
- Coordinate with the kitchen to keep orders flowing smoothly
- Help lead the team during assigned shifts
- Keep the dining room, front counter, and service areas clean and organized
- Solve small problems before they become big problems
- Make sure opening, closing, and shift duties are completed correctly
- Help create a positive workplace where teammates support one another
