Monday-Friday evenings; rotating Saturdays
Qualifications:
Ø High school graduate or equivalent GED.
Ø Current state x-ray license or certification to work in TN and MS or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Ø Basic Life Support- CPR Certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Ø Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; this is a patient-facing position.
Ø Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ø Casting/DME experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ø Interact effectively with providers, peers, patients, family members and vendors as appropriate.
Ø Assists with patient flow, triage, rooming patients, and patient care as assigned.
Ø Competently and accurately performs diagnostic imaging as directed by provider.
Ø Applies casts, bracing, splints, and other orthopedic devices.
Ø Removes sutures, cleans instruments, performs wound/dressing changes as directed by provider; assist provider(s) in clinic.
Ø Quickly and efficiently responds to patient and provider inquires and requests.
Ø Candidate will be expected to split time between x-ray and cast room duties as needed.
Ø Other tasks assigned by supervisor or physician.
Ø Give feedback during yearly review.
