The Electronics Repair Technician independently performs the repair, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing failures, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets Radwell quality standards before being returned to service or made available for sale.
This position is ideal for individuals with strong electronics troubleshooting skills who enjoy solving complex technical problems and working with industrial automation equipment in a hands-on production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair industrial electronic and electro-mechanical equipment
- Perform component-level troubleshooting on PLCs, drives, industrial PCBs, power supplies, HMIs, servo systems, and control devices
- Repair, calibrate, program, and functionally test equipment to ensure proper operation
- Utilize test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and test fixtures
- Perform power-up, diagnostic, and functional testing on repaired units
- Inspect, clean, and verify part numbers on all processed units
- Identify and order replacement parts as required
- Accurately document repairs, troubleshooting steps, and test results in company systems
- Process units to Ready-to-Sell (RTS) standards
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of equipment throughout the repair process
- Follow established repair, testing, quality, and safety procedures
- Support development of new repair capabilities and product knowledge
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties, tasks, or work as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with electronics repair and testing

- Required to provide personal tools as specified by management
Knowledge & Skills Required
- Understanding of electronic components, circuits, and electrical fundamentals
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Soldering and de-soldering skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Understanding of PLCs, drives, industrial automation, and control systems preferred
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school training, military technical training, or Associate degree preferred
- Experience in electronics repair, industrial maintenance, automation, or related technical fields preferred
- Industrial controls and automation experience is a plus

- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds, and continuous lifting up to 10 pounds
Compensation
The recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $28.00–$36.00 per hour.
Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Work Environment
This position operates within a production and warehouse environment. Employees work with industrial electronic equipment, testing devices, hand tools, soldering equipment, and repair fixtures. Closed-toe, hard-soled shoes are required. Employees must follow all company safety procedures and wear company identification badges while on-site.
