Each responsibility is assigned a weight indicating the percentage of the job it represents. For performance evaluations, the Core Responsibilities account for 90% of the overall score, while the Professionalism and Style Expectations make up the remaining 10%.
Availability including weekends and holidays is required.
Guest Room Cleaning and Housekeeping Operations
Clean and service assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards and procedures.
Make beds, change linens, and ensure all room amenities are properly stocked and presented.
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and floors, ensuring high sanitation standards.
Dust, vacuum, and sanitize all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
Replenish guest supplies such as towels, toiletries, and in-room items.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and missing items; report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Ensure all rooms are prepared in a timely manner to meet check-in and occupancy demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supply rooms.
Follow all standard operating procedures related to cleaning, sanitation, and safety.
Handle guest belongings with care and respect privacy at all times.
Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping service needs.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Assist with additional housekeeping or operational duties as assigned.

Take responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards.

These are required of every associate:
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals.
Ability to perform repetitive motions and tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Ability to hear, write, and communicate effectively.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Must possess working knowledge of housekeeping practices, cleaning techniques, and equipment.
Must have a basic understanding of safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to follow cleaning schedules and meet productivity standards.
High school education or equivalent experience is preferred.
Ability to obtain any required safety or chemical handling certifications in a timely manner.
CPR certification is preferred; first aid training is a plus.
Additional language proficiency is preferred.
