Job Title: Parts Counter Associate

Reports to: Parts Manager
Hoekstra Transportation is a proud Diamler Truck North America Dealer, selling and supporting Thomas Built Buses. Thomas Buses are built on the M2 Freighliner chassis and provide the safest transportation available for students.
We are actively searching for a qualified Parts Counter Associate to join our growing team. The parts counter employee is responsible for assisting customers and technicians in finding the appropriate parts to repair their vehicles while providing exceptional customer service through knowledgeable, friendly, professional interactions.
While supporting Thomas Build Buses, a Parts Counter Associate will also support Cummins, Detroit, and Allison products. We also have a growing EV market, with the Thomas Jouley product line.
Essential Functions:
- Create an environment in which all customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
- Parts and accessory sales
- Parts look-up, acquisition and assistance to customers, service and sales departments
- Maintain accurate inventory levels
- Receive and allocate incoming product
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Other duties as assigned
Standout Qualifications:
· Previous Parts and/or Service Department experience
· Familiar with using online part lookup tools
· Self-starter with a strong work ethic
