Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our team in Doniphan, NE.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to meet student and nutritional expectations
- Be able to assist in the kitchen when necessary
- Work cooperatively with other departments and be a team player
- Perform tasks safely and correctly
- Clean up the kitchen when finished, including taking out trash, sweeping, and mopping
- Follow Doniphan-Trumbull Public Schools standards and safety guidelines
- Adhere to all food safety, food handling, sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain an acceptable level of customer contact in the kitchen
Skills & Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 years old preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team members in other departments, as well as customers.
- Basic math skills preferred, ability to read a recipes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
