Associate Attorney – Personal Injury & Workers’ Compensation (Hybrid)
Meyer Litigators, Inc. is a growing plaintiffs’ law firm dedicated to representing injured workers and accident victims throughout Illinois. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team in a hybrid role.
Whether you are an experienced plaintiffs’ attorney or a newly licensed attorney eager to learn, we are looking for someone with strong work ethic, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of personal injury and workers’ compensation matters.
* Meet with clients and provide exceptional client service.
* Draft pleadings, motions, settlement demands, and legal correspondence.
* Conduct legal research and prepare cases for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial.
* Take and defend depositions as experience permits.
* Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
* Work closely with the firm’s attorneys and staff to obtain outstanding results for clients.
Qualifications
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
* Licensed to practice law in Illinois or awaiting Illinois bar admission.
* Personal injury and/or workers’ compensation experience is preferred but not required.
* Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.

Pay: $58,413.23 - $100,000.00 per year
