RN Charge Nurse – Jefferson Healthcare Center

Jefferson Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our leadership team. This position works closely with our Director of Nursing (DON) and two Assistant Directors of Nursing (ADONs) to provide exceptional clinical leadership and quality resident care.
We are a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility caring for a daily census of 175–185 residents. Our facility includes short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, custodial care, and hospice services, providing a diverse and rewarding nursing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision of nursing staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the DON, ADONs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes.
- Assist with admissions, assessments, care planning, and clinical documentation.
- Respond to changes in resident condition and support staff through coaching and education.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on resident-centered care.
Shift
Monday to Friday 8AM to 430PM
Wage
Ranges $40 to $45 hr.
Qualifications:
- Current Louisiana RN license in good standing.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Passion for serving the geriatric population with dignity and compassion.
