Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct appliance repairs and installations, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, and fryers.
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple locations.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed in compliance with operational standards.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing mechanical expertise and ensuring all work meets safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and kitchen equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including MRO (maintenance, repair & operations), equipment repair, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with construction experience or familiarity with building systems is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities that enable effective teamwork while managing multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
