Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries and adjustments.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and credit card reconciliations and research discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities and financial reporting.
- Prepare and record semimonthly payroll journal entries and departmental allocations.
- Support accounts payable, vendor reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
- Support audit and tax preparation by gathering documentation and preparing schedules.
- Assist with consolidated financial reporting and analysis.
- Help ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments on budgeting, forecasting, and accounting-related projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience preferred; internships and relevant academic experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or another ERP system is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary- $70,000- $80,000 (Depending on experience and degree)
