Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Deck Tech, where you'll play a vital role in repair, cleaning and staining of wood decks, fences, docks, etc. As a Deck Tech, you'll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs that keep our fleet operating smoothly and looking professional.
Responsibilities
- Showing up to work on time with energy so as not to cause delays in starting our day.
- Being able to drive a company vehicle to and from the job sites with valid Georgia / Tennessee Drivers License
- Communicate with office and customer upon arrival and upon leaving jobsite.
- Conduct inspections of decks for damage, wear, or safety hazards; report issues promptly for further action
- Assist with minor repairs such as replacing deck fittings, securing loose hardware, and applying protective coatings
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely to support tasks and ensure protection of customer's assets, i.e. house, walkways, etc.
- Maintain organized storage of tools, supplies, and equipment used during daily operations
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure protection.
- Support team members in any way.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in use of a pressure washer, and other tools of the trade preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform physical outdoor tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in outdoor environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail when staining with a focus on assuring no stain or chemicals get on customers assets.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
