Overview
We seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our production operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to:
- * Roll-forming machines
- * Stamping and cutting equipment
- * Steel processing and fabrication machinery
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential mechanical failures and safety risks
- Assist with machine installation, setup, and adjustments
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and company guidelines
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing machinery and mechanical systems
- EXPERIENCE with CNC machines and steel fabrication equipment is strongly preferred
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and manuals
- Basic welding, fabrication, or machining skills are a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
Preferred Experience:
- Manufacturing or steel processing background
- Preventive maintenance programs
- Experience working in fast-paced production facilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
