Patient Transport is an integral part of the Clinical Care Operations department which supports the patient flow and placement throughout this facility. We focus on our staff and empowering them to be engaged in the work that we do for our patients.
This assignment will report directly to the CCO/Transport team at Banner Ironwood Medical Center. This is a DAY shift working 7:00am -7:30pm and shift availability will vary.
As a Patient Transporter at Banner Ironwood Medical Center, you will play a vital role in the safety of our patients by assisting nurses with moving/transporting patients throughout the facility with various equipment, including wheelchairs and stretchers. In addition to transporting patients, your responsibilities will include transporting specimens to the lab, and equipment as needed to its rightful place. You will be joining our very energetic, engaged, and customer service focused Clinical Care Operations (CCO) team that we like to call family! Transporters are constantly on the move in this fast-paced environment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required (must meet AHA curriculum guidelines).

Registry/Per Diem positions do not have guaranteed hours and no medical benefits package is offered. Registry/Per Diem positions require a minimum of 2 shifts a month commitment. Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment, drug screen and background check (includes employment, criminal and education) is required.
