We create unforgettable experiences for non-profit organizations, corporations, private groups, and individuals—from intimate gatherings to large-scale events hosting thousands of guests.
Position Overview
The Account Manager/Event Producer is the primary client-facing representative for assigned projects. This role combines account management, event production, client relations, and creative design support. You will manage events from proposal through completion—overseeing budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and production staff—while ensuring flawless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and venues
- Draft compelling event proposals and tailored solutions to meet client needs
- Manage project budgets and timelines with accuracy
- Write and disseminate work orders to the Production Manager
- Organize and lead project meetings, maintaining detailed notes and follow-ups
- Attend site walk-throughs and collaborate on event flow/spatial planning
- Create and edit floor plans; maintain vendor inventory knowledge
- Supervise on-site production staff and vendors during events
- Produce post-event summary reports for internal and client review
- Support in-house and on-site production as needed
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and new design initiatives
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience in event production, catering, or hospitality
- Strong knowledge of floral design and floral project management
- Proven success in writing proposals, floor plans, and managing staff
Requirements:
- Strong design aesthetic aligned with RDS style
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure
- Willingness to work extended hours (40–60 hrs/week during event periods)
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation
Technical Skills:
- Google Workspace, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote, FileMaker Pro
- Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, TurboCAD, Social Tables (preferred)
